LEARNING FOR LIFE PROGRAM

Paraprofessional: Kim Taylor 631-924-7000 (ext. 18)

Learning for Life is designed to support schools and organizations in their efforts to prepare youth to successfully handle the complexities of contemporary society and to enhance their self-confidence, motivation and self-esteem. LFL also helps youth develop social and life skills, formulate positive personal values and assist in character development. It prepares youth to make ethical decisions that will help them achieve their full potential.

Learning for Life continues to make strides that are of significant value to today’s youth. It has branched out to offer additional resources to our participating schools and organizations such as shadowing, mentoring, touring options and employment opportunities.

If you would like additional information on this program or would like to volunteer to participate by speaking to a class for career day, please contact Kim Taylor at (631) 924 – 7000 extension 18 or through the following email address: ktaylor@bsamail.org.
