On June 6, 2013, the annual presentation of the Matinecock District Good Deed Award will be made to NYS Assemblyman, Hon. Andrew P. Raia.

Each year the council serves over 12,000 youth members throughout Suffolk County with the citizenship training, character development and personal fitness program of the Boy Scouts of America. Ready for another fun-filled Scouting activity, but this time without the Scouts? Then be sure to attend the Matinecock District's annual Recognition Dinner on May 23rd. This is a non-uniform event to give Scouters and spouses the opportunity for a social gathering and to recognize many in our midst for some outstanding contributions to Scouting. Please follow the instructions on the registration form.

We cannot recognize those individuals unless YOU submit a nomination! Please use the Spark Plug nomination form or the District Award of Merit nomination form to nominate a worthy Scouter.
