OA Inductions - Brothers Registration
The Lodge is holding an In-Person Induction Weekend.

This page contains important information about the induction process, please read it carefully.
REGISTRATION:

Registration is taken on a first come, first served basis. As we may need to limit the number of candidates per weekend, it is important that you register as soon as possible.

A BSA medical form must be brought with you when checking in. You only need to fill out Parts A & B. Completely fill out both parts A and B. Include any allergies, restrictions, medications, and medical history. Remember to have your Parent or Guardian sign Part B.

Induction Weekend will be held at Baiting Hollow Scout Camp.

Induction weekend
THE INDUCTION WEEKEND:
Friday Night:
-
Plan on arriving at camp between 6:00pm and 7:00pm on the Friday of your induction. Do NOT wear your uniform to camp on Friday night. The Induction process commences promptly at 7:30pm.

Eat dinner before you arrive at camp. The first meal served is Saturday morning breakfast.
Saturday:

Please make sure you have work clothes, work gloves, and two masks.

Please bring your Class A uniform for your ceremony and for dinner. You will be able to store your uniform in the dining hall until you need it on Saturday night.
Sunday:

The event will conclude at 12:00 pm on Sunday Morning.

Please note that a parent or guardian must pick you up from the Dining Hall to check you out of camp. You cannot drive into camp for pickup. Please walk up to the dining hall for pickup.

You must be present for the entire induction weekend in order for your induction to be accepted.
**No early dismissals or late arrivals will be permitted.**
What to Bring:
When packing for the induction weekend, pack as you would for any other campout, except, you do not need to wear your uniform to camp. Dress for a night out under the stars. You will be able to store your uniform in the dining hall until you need it on Saturday night.
Make sure to bring the following…

Your complete Class A Uniform.

Toiletries.
-
Work clothes and gloves.

Other clothes as appropriate for the weather.

Tent to spend Saturday Night.

Any medication (must be in a pharmacy container with the doctor’s orders clearly visible)
Brother will also need pack a bag containing the following for staying with the Candidates during their Friday night under the stars:

Sleeping bag or blanket

Ground Cloth
-
Poncho or Rain Gear
-
Flashlight
