Andrew's Top Run is going to be a family fun event. Register with your Troop, family and friends.

On Saturday, March 30, 2024 the Suffolk County Council of Boy Scouts USA and the Andrew McMorris Foundation will host Andrew’s Top Run 5K to raise the funds for Scholarships and Scouterships. 2022 was the inaugural run and we had a huge turnout for this fantastic event.

In September of 2018, Boy Scout Troop 161 was hiking the Greenbelt Trail when a drunk driver tragically hit them. Several scouts were severely injured; as a result of his injuries, Andrew McMorris passed away. The lives of his family, friends, community and fellow scouters were forever changed by his loss.

The 5K will be a celebration of Andrew, his love of aviation and scouting as our participants will have the unique opportunity to run on the runways in Calverton.
