The purpose of Paddle Craft training is to sufficiently prepare anyone to safely supervise a particular boating activity. Training will ensure skill in and safe operation of the craft for the specific activity. Participants will become knowledgeable in accident prevention and be prepared for emergency situations.  During the July 13th and July 20th Skills sessions, Scouts who have earned a partial in Kayaking or Canoe Merit Badges will have the opportunity to complete the requirements.

Courses will cover skills for flat water canoeing (and/or kayaking) to allow you to judge your readiness for supervising a basic canoe (or kayak) activity.
