Den Chief Training is a specialized program designed to equip Scouts with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively assist Cub Scout den leaders. This training focuses on leadership development, understanding the Cub Scout program, and learning how to engage younger scouts in activities. 

A Den Chief is a member of a Scouts BSA Troop who works with a Cub Scout den in a local Cub Scout Pack. The Den Chief assists a Den Leader in providing the Cub Scout program during meetings and activities. Den Chiefs help create a bond between Cub Scout Pack members and a Scouts BSA troop and provides a leadership/position of responsibility opportunity for troop members. 

The fee for Den Chief Training is $20.00 per Scout, which includes lunch.

Den Chief Training will be offered as part of our Scouting University program.
