2025 Cub Scout Science Day Camp

Cub Scout Science Day Camp is back! Science camp supplements and uses the STEM program. Cub Scouts will work on science related activities during the week, earn a rank specific Adventure Elective which corresponds to each area of focus and earn the STEM-Nova patch.  A local science related field trips are taken to see and practice Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Science with hands-on activities like you never experienced within the four walls of a typical classroom. The entire camp is an outdoor learning experience and the only thing missing is YOU! Because of the popularity of this program, early registration is recommended. Each week is limited to 48 scouts and each area of focus is limited to 12 participants. Camp runs Mon- Fri, 8:30am to 4:00pm. Lunch and an afternoon snack is provided. Information regarding a virtual Parent Orientations Meetings will be provided as part of your registration confirmation.

The fee for Science Day Camp is:

Before June 1st - $425 per scout per week                    After June 1st - $450 per scout per week

When registering for Science Camp you will be asked to select one of 4 areas of focus in the Cub Scout STEM program - Science, Technology, Engineering or Math. Each area of focus has room for 12 scouts. For more information on the Cub Scout STEM Nova Awards, please visit the national BSA website at:   www.scouting.org/stem/Awards/CubScout.aspx.  Scouts entering the Tiger program (first grade) in September may participate in Science Camp, but will not earn a STEM Nova Award as the BSA does not have one for Scouts at that level.

Twilight Camp

Don't forget to add Twilight Camp to your week of science fun at Baiting Hollow. Twilight Camp will run on Wednesday evening from 4:30 (when Day Camp ends) until 9:00 pm. You can easily add Twilight Camp to your week when you register. The fee for Twilight Camp is $30.

Ride the Bus to Baiting Hollow Scout Camp

Back by popular demand - ride the bus to Day Camp at Baiting Hollow Scout Camp! Bus cost is $125.00 per week per Scout.

You must enroll in Cub Scout Day Camp, Cub Scout Science Day Camp or Scouts BSA Day Camp to take advantage of the bus. We have again contracted with First Student Bus Company to provide our transportation to and from camp this summer. A member of our camp staff will ride the bus each day to provide program and ensure that every camper has a great time. Your bus stop selection can be chosen as part of your camp registration.

Best Market Shopping Center on Montauk Highway and the William Floyd Parkway

Please note: There is no bus from our Cub Scout Twilight Camp program on Wednesday evening. If your scout is participating in this program, you are responsible for picking him up at camp that evening.
