OA Vigil Nomination
The Vigil Honor is the highest honor the Order of the Arrow can bestow upon its members for service to their Lodge and Council. It is a mark of distinction and recognition for those Arrowmen who, by reason of exceptional service, personal effort, and unselfish interest, have made distinguished contributions beyond the immediate responsibilities of their position or office.
To be eligible a Scout or Scouter must have been an active Brotherhood member for at least two years at the time of nomination and be a registered and dues paid member of the Boy Scouts of America and Shinnecock Lodge.
You do not have to be a Vigil Honor member to nominate an Arrowman for the Vigil Honor. Use the online form below to submit a nomination. Complete as much factual information as possible. Be as specific as you can and include dates wherever possible. Your narrative comments are the most valuable input you can submit to the selection committee. If you have a photo of your nominee, please upload the photo as part of the online form below.
