Heart of the Community Award Dinner - Wed., March 11, 2026, 6:30 - 9:30 pm. recognizing Babylon Town Supervisor, Rich Schaffer.
District Dinner - Friday, May 15th, 7-11pm, Shandon Court, East Islip Details and registration to follow.
Fishing Clinic - Sunday, June 21st - Details to follow.
Training
Feb. 9th - Angling Educator Course - 6pm-9pm, 1 Independence Hill, Farmingville, NY 11738 - 1st floor conference room.
Feb. 9th - Introduction to High Adventure - 7:30pm - 9:00pm, St. Francis Cabrini Parish Center. Open to scouters and scouts 14 or older, 1st Class and above. Registration is free!
Feb. 20th - Eagle Coach Training - 6:30pm - 9:00pm , Church of Christ, West Islip. Registration is free!
April 13th - Introduction to Hiking - 7:30pm - 9:00pm, St. Francis Cabrini Parish Center. Registration is free!
May 1st-3rd - Certified Angling Instructor Training Course - Training is open to all registered scout leaders & scouts ages 15+. Class limited to 14 participants.
June 8th - Intro. to Backpacking - 7:30pm - 9:00pm . St. Francis Cabrini Parish Center. Registration is free!

March 14th - 10 Mile Hike
April 11th - 10 Mile Hike
May 30th - 20 Mile Hike
June 12th - Citizenship in the Nation Hike - TBD
June 20th - 10 Mile Hike
Roundtable is held every 2nd Tuesday of the month at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 455 Hunter Ave., West Islip at 7:30pm.

Spotlight on Family of Scouting - This project highlights scouts and families that represent the true meaning of “Family of Scouting”. We have a great team working hard on this project and hope to launch it soon. The families interviewed in these segments have embraced the scouting program. They proudly share their stories on the impact it has made on their lives, values and successes.” Their unique stories will be an inspiration to scouters as well as an influential recruitment tool as they are all families from OUR communities!
