The "Life to Eagle" Seminar has been rescheduled for the Tuesday, May 9, 2017 Roundtable.

These seminars are intended to assist units, leaders, parents and especially youth, understand the process for scout transitions from the rank of Life Scout to the Eagle Scout rank. Participants develop a deeper understanding of paperwork needed, order of approvals, what the Eagle Board looks like and who to contact for each step of the process. You will learn what resources are available to assist you along the way. The goal being to ensure parents & Scouts are all “on the same page”. The information presented at this training will save you many hours of work and lots of frustration in the process of earning the Eagle rank.  Adults and Scouts are encouraged to attend.  Any Scout attending is asked to please bring with them a copy of the Eagle Scout Service Project Workbook #512-927.

Roundtable is very informative to all leaders, Cubmasters and their assistants, Scoutmasters and their assistants, committee chairpersons and their members, along with any interested parents. In addition to the supplemental training, at Roundtable there are ideas for pack meetings, specialty training for troops, information concerning district and council events. So come on down, meet the Roundtable staff, get some new ideas and information that's so important and enjoy some refreshments. Roundtable takes place on the second Tuesday of every month at the Islip Middle School.  Looking forward to seeing you all at the next Roundtable.
