Incident Reporting

Unit Performance Scorecard - The goal of the Sagtikos Unit Performance Scorecard (UPS) is to encourage and track unit progress in various measures such as leader training, advancement, membership, roundtable attendance and activities. These measures are basic indicators of unit health.  Verification of completion of these measures will be done by the Unit Commissioner, Unit Leader, and Committee Chair. Units are encouraged to submit a form when a milestone is reached so we can establish a leaderboard.  This form can be submitted up to 3 times during the year as a unit progresses through Bronze->Silver->Gold. Final forms will be due at the January 2027 Roundtable.  Units who complete a UPS for 2026 will be recognized with a ribbon for their unit flag and receive a certificate.  Completed forms should be submitted to dianne.corallo@scouting.org.

Sagtikos Summer Merit Badge Program 2026

The 2026 Sagtikos Summer Merit Badge program will have two 2 weeks Sessions. It will run as follows:  Please visit link for registration, general information and prerequisites.

Session 1: Thursdays, July 9th & July 16th

Session 2: Thursdays, July 23 & July 30th

June 21st - Fishing Clinic - 10am-2pm, Belmont Lake State Park Please join us for an afternoon of family, fishing and fellowship.  Event is free. (Parking fees may apply).  

Training

June 6 - First Aid Merit Badge Day - 10am-2pm - Brentwood Legion Ambulance, 29 Third Ave., Brentwood, NY  11717
**All registrations must be submitted no later than May 22nd.
FEE - $5 covers medical training supplies
MUST BE 1ST CLASS OR HIGHER

June 8th - Intro. to Backpacking - 7:30pm - 9:00pm . St. Francis Cabrini Parish Center. Registration is free!

HIKES

June 12th - Citizenship in the Nation Hike - TBD

June 20th - 10 Mile Hike

Roundtable is held every 2nd Tuesday of the month at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 455 Hunter Ave., West Islip at 7:30pm.   

Roundtable is a great way to learn and meet other leaders and share experiences.  Do you have questions?  Would you like to hear about a particular topic?  Let us know! We are here to support you! June Roundtable & Fellowship BBQ

Please join us on Tues., June 9th, 6:30pm at St. Paul's Reformed Church, 158 Phelps Lane, North Babylon for a "True" Roundtable & Fellowship BBQ. A delicious dinner will be served.  Please bring a dessert and a lawn chair.  Registration required.
